Best food I’ve had in Phuket
Great food. Freshly made. Home made chips what was a delight. But you got to try the steak sandwich as it’s the best. Very very clean eating areas. Has pool table if you fancied a game. But the cleanest and freshest bathroom in Phuket. Friendly staff

A Delicious Hidden Gem!
We really enjoyed our meal at Skipper’s Karon. Matt and Anne gave us a warm welcome and explained their menu. Matt is an excellent cook. We were two couples who all chose his homemade burgers and fries. Delicious! We all agreed one of the best burgers we have ever had. We highly recommend you try Skipper’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Food. - Guaranteed Delicious.
The food at this restaurant is worth coming back to Phuket for! Matt and Anne are perfect hosts and it’s easy to see they their goal of making sure you have a great experience at their establishment is genuine.
Having tasted the best burger we have ever had on Sunday, my wife and I had to find a way to get back to Skippers to taste some of the other things on the menu before we left Karon Beach. We ordered a steak sandwich, an item that Matt (the owner and cook) described as we left the establishment on Sunday. As good as the burger was, we couldn’t ignore without giving it a try. We were not disappointed!
When our sandwich arrived, there was as much juicy, tender steak, smothered in fried onions hanging over each side of the bun as there was on it. The sandwich was accompanied by pickles and roast potatoes that too were to die for. Delicious!
At the end of our lunch, both very full, my wife casually mentioned how much she loved lamb. Matt insisted we try his and brought out a sample of roast lamb and mint sauce. Melt in your mouth delicious. This guy can flat out cook.
I implore you to make the effort to find Skippers when you are in Karon Beach. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious Far Beyond Expectations
After being in Thailand for a month and despite loving the local cuisine, we pined for a different taste. Finding Skippers and having the pleasure of meeting the owners Matt and Ann, was just what the doctor ordered.
The menu was full of our favourites, steak sandwiches, burgers, roast lamb and the like. All 4 of us selected the burger and what a great selection that was! Not one to give out accolades very often, Matt’s burger, accompanied by piping hot, delicious homemade chips equaled or surpassed the best burger combo we have ever tasted. Not kidding!
Skippers is a Diamond in the rough and should NOT be missed. Once you try Matt’s cooking you will immediately star planning a return visit as we are.

One of the best in Phuket
If you’re a bit over the Thai food and would like some good old fashion Aussie meals, it’s easily the best western burgers/steak sandwich/ home made sausage rolls etc in Phuket.
My missus (who is a foodie) said the burger was one of the best anywhere!
The food can only be matched by Matt, N and tiger making you feel very welcome and nothing is to much or a bother!
Watched the Matilda’s win, played some free pool, ate some great food, topped off with ice cream and milo for the supprise desert! And of course some ice cold beer!

Thanks for the great review. We’re only as good as our guests and you and your family are some of the best people I’ve met, you make our job easy as serving you is our absolute pleasure. Consider everyone of you personal friends. The world has got smaller over the past few years and people like yourselves are the reason we do what we do. If i could rate you guys it would be 10/10, people like you are the reason i get homesick, just for a minute though..
