Small, fine. THE box seat on the Piazza Ducale

Charming mini-apartment (Apartment "B") with an exclusive mini-terrace. Not wheelchair accessible, narrow, steep staircase, low sloping ceilings. Nicely furnished. Small kitchenette (but no sink) with microwave and capsule coffee machine. Bathroom with shower and toilet. TV in the bedroom AND living room. No WiFi, landlord cites historical walls as the reason.

Stay away from Bea Ducale, can't be trusted

My booking was made in February for just one night in July, a non-refundable fee was paid, Flights and other bookings were made around that night accordingly. In May the host cancelled the "non-cancellable" booking due to "overbooking". The reservation was made through Booking.com that was not terribly helpful in this dispute. Stay away from Bea Ducale

Just well located....the rest disappointing

Great location on the square but let s not call it bed and breakfast because breakfast is not even provided in a bar under the apartment. Rather narrow, 50 steps up a steep and very narrow staircase, not a trolley passes... the windows of our room had no dark .. none, not even that of the room.
If it were not for where it is placed it would be 1 star.... I will not go back.

Not a great place for anyone over 60, lugging a suitcase up 3 flights of narrow stone stepss.

Only suitable for someone under 60 - narrow stone stairs up to 3rd floor dragging a suitcase is not ideal. Not to say that the accommodation was OK and the view from the terrace spectacular. Very low ceilings and somewhat claustrophobic. But walk out on the piazza for the promised enchantment.

Living Italian History

A really lovely and well located apartment. The host was extremely helpful and even asked a local restaurant to stay open late so we could eat when we arrived. Kitchen facilities adequate for a short stay, you might want some more cooking equipment if staying longer.
The location is spectacular, overlooking the square which is an amazing historical location, even praised by Leonardo da Vinci. Many local shops and restaurants and some great historic places to visit.
