Very Good Overall
The location was good, although when we arrived we waited outside 15 minutes calling all the listed numbers - non of which worked - till a kind neighbour helped us by calling someone he knew there who turned out to be the cleaner.
The room was in a different building than the main one, but was clean and modern with everything we needed. Except the annoying fridge, all that was in it was 1 water and 1 beer. You could see previously it had annoyed someone else who’d pulled out the plug and it had defrosted all over the floor as there was a now permanent water stain.
The breakfast was excellent and far exceeded my expectations.
Overall I’d stay again but need a room without a fridge.

Note that there is no 24 hour reception (it’s only open during the morning). I suggest you make arrangements to gain access before you arrive as it’s a code controlled door to get in. If you don’t (like we did) don’t panic, call them.
We booked a deluxe room which was on the second floor (there is a lift) advertised with ‘balcony’ but the balcony was the passageway to the room overlooking a small courtyard without anywhere to sit. Probably nice in the summer as it was a shady room. Room was clean and contained a double bed one seat and a small wall mounted tv. There was a large en-suite but no where to hang the towels. There was a fridge, a kettle and cups but no coffee or tea. Breakfast was typically European cheese, ham, croissants, fruit, yogurt and was from 0830 to 1000.
It’s a family run establishment and the staff were friendly and eager to please. If you stay here it feels like it’s responsible tourism. Finally, There is a small alimentary about 5 minutes away which is open 6 days a week till 2000. Not a luxury experience but an authentic experience of Palermo.
