Recommended
We returned to B&B Bertani because we had already had a very good experience during our previous stay, and this time as well, our expectations were fully met.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, ideal for relaxing after a day out and about. Another strong point is definitely the parking, very convenient for those arriving by car.
We also appreciated the breakfast, rich and varied, with a wide selection that allows you to start the day in the best way possible.
If I really have to find one small aspect that could be improved, the floor-mounted air conditioning unit is a bit noisy while running. It is, however, a detail that did not affect our stay, and I am convinced that the property is already aware of it and will take steps to resolve it.
Overall, it is a property that we recommend without hesitation and that, if we were to return to the area, we would choose again with pleasure.

A nightmare night
Apparently a modern B&B with very recent furnishings. The problem is that appearance is deceiving and we were forced to leave the B&B after the first night of nightmare. First of all, despite the apparent new renovation, flushing the toilet “boiled” the water from the shower drain and the walls of the room were very dirty, so already on arrival we realized that all that modernity was only apparent. But the real nightmare was the night.
After having dinner out, when we returned to the room we turned on the air conditioning, but the problem is that (probably due to a setting of the owners) during the night only the ventilation mode worked and not air conditioning. With a 9-month-old baby it was a nightmare. We opened the window in the hope that there would be some air but it was impossible to stay in the room because of the strong smell of fish coming from the kitchen that was exactly under the room. As a result, the baby (very sweaty and with enormous difficulty) fell asleep, but the night was a nightmare, so much so that in the morning we were forced to shower. Moreover, always during the night, in an attempt to fight the absurd heat of the room, we tried to cool off under the water, too bad that only hot water came out of the tap. That's crazy. At around 8 am the air conditioning started working again, confirming our idea that a night-time air conditioning block was imposed, something unthinkable in those areas given the summer heat.
And that's not all. In the morning we go down for breakfast but, due to the fact that it is a bar open to everyone and not for the exclusive use of those staying in the B & B, there is a coming and going of people and a waitress says “just ask one of us and we will bring everything to the table”. Too bad she left in the kitchen immediately after this statement and we had to ask 3 waiters before getting the croissants and cappuccinos. It is true that there were several people at the counter, but this is not the way to treat customers, especially given that we had a child with us who had to wait for some time before sitting down and eating. Moreover, we asked for 1 chocolate brioche and 1 jam brioche, but the waitress, listless and without the slightest enthusiasm, first understood that there were 3 brioche and, in the end (despite my partner having told her 3 times that there were 1 chocolate brioche and 1 jam brioche), almost threw us the dish with 1 chocolate brioche and 2 jam brioche. No comment.
We had read several positive reviews and trusted, but apparently the saying “trust is good, not trusting is better” is really true. Absolutely not recommended.

B&B Bertani
Recently renovated B&B. Spacious room, nothing is missing. Excellent typical dinner, and equally excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful and friendly staff. Recommended for its location just a few minutes from the motorway. We will certainly return.

Nice stay
We stayed for one night, very close to the center of Modena, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very large rooms, well renovated and reasonably clean.
Breakfast is eaten directly at the bar, rich in sweet and savory foods, all very fresh and very good. They also offered us some fried gnocchi, really tasty and light.
If I were them I would just put signs for customer reception, it's easy to find it because it's inside the bar/restaurant, but at first we entered directly into the rooms part, but other than that, I would go back.

Excellent recently renovated b&b. Very varied and assorted breakfast including sweet and savory, with table service. Convenient location for traveling around the Modena area and the motorway. Possibility to have lunch and dinner at their restaurant. Advised
