Excellent

We had a great time. Welcoming staff and rooms with a charm that I have found in few establishments. Excellent cleanliness. Breakfast with food of excellent quality. The only suggestion is for the air conditioner, which directs the cold air right onto the bed. It might be useful to install deflectors.

Very negative experience.

At the time of booking, made in person, I was informed that the payment for the room had to be made before the guests' arrival, without specifying a deadline. For me, this meant that I could settle the bill the following morning, as long as it was before the guests' check-in, which I also clearly specified.
In the email received, containing the payment note, a deadline of 12 hours was indeed indicated, but being busy, I did not read it immediately and relied on what was verbally agreed upon at the establishment.
When the following morning I tried to make the payment, the reservation was already canceled, and upon returning to the hotel, I discovered that the room had been assigned to other guests.
While I acknowledge that I did not check the email promptly, I believe that the information provided in person was unclear and that it would have been correct to explicitly specify that the payment was not just to be made before the guests' arrival, but within a much closer and mandatory deadline.
A management that caused me significant discomfort and left me with a decidedly negative impression.

Definitely worth repeating

We had a lovely time. The food was good and the service was wonderful. Chianni is a beautiful little authentic Italian town and this restaurant is right in the center of things. There was both indoor and outdoor seating and there seem to be a lot of locals supporting the restaurant which is always a good sign.

Quiet

Location is nice if you want to get away from busy cities.
Rooms was nice but towels are like Tea Towels.
Atmosphere is pleasant
Value for money was poor as the sp, massage, sun loungers/garden was not available

Excellent location in the centre of Chianni, which was perfect for exploring the local area and eating out. The staff were all very friendly and the continental breakfast was nice.
There was a small refrigerator in the room and if there was just one extra small thing that would have been nice, it would have been some coffee making facilities in the room itself.
Overall a lovely stay with the brilliant restaurant to dine at.
