The only place to stay in St Augustine

This place is simply lovely. The breakfast is great, the staff is excellent, the the views, especially the sunsets are spectacular. We visit twice a year on average and it’s our only choice in St Augustine . The one improvement I might recommend is to have individual microwaves in each room.

Almost Perfect!

My girlfriend and I stayed the weekend of 07/17/2026, sadly this review is mixed. The motel location and the view of old town St. Augustine is GREAT! The service by the gentleman at breakfast was fantastic, he made us feel very welcome! The service at check-in made us feel VERY uncomfortable and not welcomed. Not sure if the lady at the front desk was just having a bad day or she just does not like people. She was rude and seemed bothered that we were checking in, she also seemed annoyed that we were asking questions such as "what time is breakfast" or "what time does the pool close". We chose this hotel due to the location and the availability of the pool, we were happy to use it but it was in need of a really good cleaning. Overall I rate our stay at "Average", I would've rated it as "Excellent" if not due to the cranky lady at the front desk. We will be back for Christmas, hopefully that front office lady is not there or in a better "holiday" mood.

Our favorite place to stay!

Great location and great service. The room was lovely and we had the perfect view of the bay. We enjoyed having quick access to all of the shops, restaurants, and Anastasia park. We always choose Edgewater Inn when visiting St. Augustine.

Me and my husband have wanted to try the Edgewater Inn for some time. The room was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The patio view of the river was beautiful. We were served breakfast with real dishes by the desk attendant. The breakfast was prepared in house. We will definitely go back. It was also very quiet.

Just a wonderful good experience and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful motel. Great easy walk into old town over the bridge. Beautiful relaxing view from our porch of the river. Very nice comfortable bed! A/C kept our room very nice and cozy. The homemade breakfasts were very good. Price was good. Sue made our stay extra special. We would definitely stay again.
