Amazing customer service
Our wedding at Wisp Resort was absolutely unforgettable. We just got home and I wish I could give them 10 out of 5 stars.
Not only was this an incredible experience, it was also historic — we were their first-ever ski wedding in 70 years, and they made it truly the best day of our lives.
From the very first moment, Lisa and Larissa went above and beyond in every possible way. They made the entire process feel effortless, personal, and genuinely joyful. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and warmth. You can tell they truly love what they do — and it shows.
What impressed us even more was their staff. Many of them didn’t even realize we were the bride and groom, yet they treated us (and every guest) with an extraordinary level of kindness and attentiveness. The service was far beyond anything we expected. Every interaction felt thoughtful and authentic.
The atmosphere, the energy, the execution — everything was flawless. As a groom, I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier. We cannot say enough great things about Wisp Resort and the entire team. If you’re considering hosting a wedding here, do it. They turned a dream into reality and gave us a day we will cherish forever.

Beware
Great location, but the stay was frustrating. Check-in and check-out were a nightmare, including a 30-minute wait for a luggage cart. The door setup is awful—one set broken, heavy double doors that make hauling luggage or ski gear nearly impossible without getting hit. Rooms are very dated, beds were saggy, there are no phones in the rooms, and the pool was closed. This place needs serious updates and better operations.

Time for a room makeover and update
My sister and I stayed in the older part of the building one night to attend a nearby wedding.
It looked clean but there were issues.
1. A light fixture was falling from the ceiling near the door.
2. Bathroom ceiling tiles were water stained and out of place.
3. The beds were comfortable at first but the springs could be felt in some areas.
We are not early risers especially after a fun night but we cleared out quickly.
Maybe the newer part of the hotel is better??

Did not receive the room type that was in the reservation. When I went back to the front desk I was told there was nothing they could do except leave a note for a manager. Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either.

Wonderful visit and stay!
The resort and hotel exceeded my expectations. Helpful, patient, and friendly front desk staff when an issue came up (which was my fault). Manager was also a great help and willing to do whatever was necessary to make the stay smooth. The rooms were large and very nice and a pleasure to stay in. I really don’t understand how anyone could say it’s run down? I travel a lot and have a lot of hotels to compare against, and the room was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the slopes which stayed open despite the less than favorable weather conditions handed out by Mother Nature that week (great job to the mountain operations for keeping the trails open!). Ski patrol were very friendly and helpful. I will be back as soon as I can be!!!
