Great visit
This was such a sweet and unique boutique hotel to stay at. We loved that there was a restaurant and bar on site, along with lots of outdoor hang out space. Free coffee in the morning was a wonderful treat. The bedrooms were clean, beautifully designed, had extremely comfortable beds, and high end products in the bathroom. Only complaints are that, while the products are Le Labo and smell amazing, they seemed extremely watered down, and also the room was very dark. I love not having overhead lighting but there weren’t enough lamps. If you require absolute silence, the bathroom walls are thin and you can hear periodic noise from the parking lot, but neither were bothersome at all to us. Otherwise, our stay was absolutely perfect and we’ll be recommending to others for sure.

We only stayed one evening, but the attention to detail was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again.

This is a renovated motel - meaning the doors face the outside. It is two stories - one facing Berkshire hills the other facing a parking lot. I was given a room on the first floor - facing the parking lot. Not ideal. There did not appear to be many guests, so i was surprised to find out after asking for a second floor room facing the hills there were no other rooms available and no staff there to clean. The room looked dingy under the very warm, yellow lighting in the room. There were noticeable nicks in the furniture and built up grunge in the bathroom corners. Although I planned a 3 night stay, I didn’t even stay one night because i felt so uncomfortable and unwell. This was a non refundable rate, but the hotel kindly agreed to refund the two nights; however, when i attempted to confirm that was the case - i got no answer. I do not recommend this hotel. Two days later i am still waiting for confirmation (it is a holiday weekend, so grace is appropriate). If you prefer a more polished, modern, or chic experience, I would look elsewhere.

Anniversary celebration at Tanglewood
This former motel is very comfortable with a great bar and sitting area with an outside deck. A nice light bites menu and a great bartender who knows how to mix a cocktail. Had to eat early diner/late lunch to get to Tedeski Trucks band in time. Could not miss Lucus Nelson. Finally got to the Mount before we checked in with Norman Rockwell museum closed on Wednesdays. Got there the next day with a late lunch after at the Red Lion hotel where one can always feel like they have gone back in time. A bit of early Christmas shopping fi ished off the day. We only live 2 hours away and will be back and stay at this lovely little casual comfortable place.

Excellent experience. Highly recommend!
Had tickets to concert at Tanglewood. Had never been before. Searched hotels and found this place that looked lovely. Cannot give it enough praise. Beautiful lobby, bar, room was so nice, clean, comfy bed, great a/c. Everyone we dealt with as far as staff was wonderful, smily, great. All at good price and just beautiful view. Outdoor seating just lovely. Can’t wait to come back!!!
