The best of Tarifa

Nice and clean hotel, Andalusian style. Convenient location with free parking nearby and you can reach the center on foot. The owner is an extremely kind person who speaks Italian very well and can recommend good places to go for dinner. You can choose whether to have a simple breakfast in the facility or there is a café nearby that offers various types of breakfasts. Highly recommended hotel and if I were to return to Tarifa one day I would certainly return here.

Quiet, walkable, affordable lodging

This is a lovely facility with a great location and price. Old Town is less than 10 minutes away, there's a supermarket just down the street. The decor is beautiful with Spanish tiles and plates throughout. It gave me an indoor courtyard vibe. If I ever return to Tarifa, I'd DEFINITELY return to Hostal Alborada.

All Good Stuff To Say

This place is clean with plenty of light, and situated close to both old town and the bus station. The “tres hermanos “ take turns at the desk, and speak good english. They were helpful and generous and will make a small breakfast for you if you like in the dining area on the main floor. They took advantage of being down for 15 covid months to do some maintenance work. There are many great places to eat nearby, including a Thai carry out next door.

Great Hostal, more of a hotel in my opinion, great value for money.

This was a very pleasant surprise, 2 star hostal but far better in reality. Good location 300m from old town and 400m from the best beach and that was the least good about this place! Clean, cosy. Nice room with charm. I highly recommend this place.

Hospitability and friendliness with Andalusian accent :-)

A pleasant family run hotel, where I always feel welcome thanks to Carlos, Fali and Quino, who are very nice, kind, helpful, funny and very friendly. As an example, let me mention that there is no lift (this is the only downside of this hotel), but they are always ready to help customers.
Wifi works very well, the rooms are neither big, nor small, pleasant, comfortable and quiet (when nobody is closing doors abruptly -inner noise echoes a lot). They are equipped with nice, rustic furniture, A/C and a flat TV. The ensuite bathrooms have hairdryer, while the cleanliness in all the property is perfect. The breakfast, which is served from 07:00 to 11:00, is ok.
Concerning the location, this hotel is within walking distance from the bus station, the Old Town and the beach, so it's easy to also reach many different dining options (I'm recommending, among others, Cafe Azul and Mic Moc restaurant). ATMs and Super Sol supermarket are also nearby, as well as an automated laundry in Calle Antonio Maura, 9.
