Lovely hotel, excellent location and brilliant staff.
Excellent location and lovely staff! Very clean and breakfast amazing. Lovely bar and outside terrace next to beach.

One Star Experiences, at Four Star Prices.
I would definitely not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. On a positive note, its location is great, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was extensive, if somewhat repetitive. On to the negative aspects. The pool is not attached to the main hotel, which means one has to walk up the street to access the pool through the hotel annex. Our room was minuscule, with inadequate storage, particularly for hanging clothes. It was impossible to hang dresses at all, without them sweeping along the shelf underneath the rail. The bedside light fittings were both broken. The walls and furnishings were spartan, scuffed, and worn. There were power cuts almost every day. The duvet cover was stained with what looked like body fluids. The shower door didn’t fit properly, so every time we had a shower, no matter how careful we tried to be, the whole bathroom floor flooded. There was an infestation of silverfish insects in the bathroom. Our balcony looked out onto a big wall, which also seemed to be a bit of a building site, (see attached photos). There was no seat in the room, and no desk or dressing table. The final straw came when a large cockroach appeared out of a crack in the wall, and scuttled over my shoe, before disappearing back into the wall crack again.
Reception's solution to this, was to give us a can of insecticide.
We couldn’t handle any more, so we lost the money on our last three nights in the hotel, and also lost our return flight money, but it was worth it, to purchase two last minute flights to get us home, and away from the horrors of this so-called four star hotel. To add insult to injury, we asked reception to book our taxi to the airport. I was very careful to ask them to book the taxi to pick us up first in Port de Sóller, followed by our friends in Sóller, (as by chance, the friends were going to the airport at the same time). The person at reception screwed this up completely, and ordered the taxi to go to Sóller first. In the ensuing chaos, our taxi ended up picking us up very late. Fortunately we made our flight, (no thanks to the hotel receptionist), but we had to pay the taxi company an extra €20, to cover the misdirection of the taxi.
I would never darken the door of this hotel again.

Great location, poor experience
We recently stayed at Fergus Style Soller Beach and, while the location and the staff were excellent, our overall experience was very disappointing.
The biggest issue was the room we were allocated. It overlooked an active building site, and every morning from around 7am we were woken by loud construction machinery. This wasn’t occasional noise, it was continuous and completely took away from what should have been a relaxing holiday. The view from our room was also directly onto the building works, which was far from what we expected when booking.
When we raised the issue to reception, we were told the hotel was fully booked so there was nothing that could be done. While we appreciate the staff were courteous and professional throughout, we feel guests should be made aware of major construction work before they book.
We contacted the hotel by email after our stay to give them the opportunity to address our concerns, but unfortunately we never received a response, which was equally disappointing.
It’s such a shame because Port de Sóller is beautiful and the staff were genuinely lovely. However, the combination of the construction noise, the room location and the lack of any follow-up means we can’t recommend this hotel based on our experience.

The service is really fantastic. There might be some issues with older buildings and perhaps the aircondition is a little outdated - but the people and the rooms are excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at FERGUS Style Soller Beach!
Although we arrived early, the reception staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were initially offered a room on the first floor, but when we asked if a higher floor was available, the lovely lady at reception immediately checked for us. She first offered us a room on the fourth floor, and then surprised us by telling us they also had another room with a private outdoor spa on the rooftop terrace. Of course we said yes – and it turned out to be the most amazing room! The rooftop terrace, private spa, and stunning views over the harbour made our stay unforgettable.
The breakfast buffet is absolutely fantastic, with everything you could possibly wish for. Fresh, delicious, and with a great variety every morning.
A huge thank you to the entire team for the outstanding service and warm hospitality. We truly felt welcome from the moment we arrived.
We will definitely be back!
