Our stay at Seth Punta Prima was absolutely exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the day of departure, every member of staff made us feel welcome, valued, and truly at home.
A special thank you goes to the incredible Entertainment Team, who were simply outstanding throughout our holiday. Martina, Mario, Jeremy, Ema, Alessa, and Carla deserve the highest recognition for their dedication, professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine kindness. Their energy was contagious, and they created an atmosphere full of joy, positivity, and unforgettable memories for guests of all ages.
Martina was an exceptional leader, always organised, approachable, and full of positive energy. Mario brought endless enthusiasm and made every activity enjoyable and engaging. Jeremy impressed us with his professionalism, friendliness, and ability to make everyone feel included. Ema was always smiling, caring, and incredibly warm-hearted. Alessa stood out with her wonderful personality, creativity, and ability to connect with both children and adults. Carla was equally fantastic, bringing positivity, kindness, and excellent organisation to every event and activity.
The entire entertainment programme was organised to perfection. Avoid at all costs
I wanted to share the experience my family had at this hotel which I can only describe as the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at with little or no care shown by the management team.
We arrived on the 2nd May and despite asking for a ground floor room via TUi we were allocated a top floor room with a very large drop which my three year old who loves to climb things was viewed as a dangerous hazard by myself and my wife. We asked to move to a ground floor room as requested and this was done later that day.
During the first night my wife woke up in the middle of the night to feel bugs on her and my child who was co-sleeping with her, when she turned on the light she was the room and our sound machine were infested with hundreds of small mosquitos photos are attached. This was extremely distressing for both my wife and kids- so we once again asked to move rooms the following morning.
So once again we were given another room again on the ground floor- and after returning from dinner the second night we decided to check if the room was ok, but once again the patio doors inside the room were covered in mosquitos. We asked reception to deep clean the room before we went to bed which they did and I had to take the bug spray from the cleaner to spray before we went out every night.
The lead receptionist appeared to be a man whose name I can’t remember maybe Juan or Jose but despite my wife being visibly upset on a couple of occasions he appeared to not care at all much like his scruffy appearance, actually ignoring my wife on one occasion to deal with someone else behind her.
The standard of cleanliness across the hotel is a disgrace- we saw two dead pigeons on the tennis court opposite the kids club- bins full of dirty nappies and in the kids splash park there are weeds literally everywhere, and we had bird poo on one of the slides.
Next onto the kids club- I attach a picture but what is on TUI website has clearly been edited- no soft play or ball pit instead it is a filthy room with filthy furniture and very basic amenities- the toilet behind the kids club has no dryer or towels so I had to use toilet roll to dry hands.
The food is extremely basic and whilst breakfast is acceptable the dinner was literally a grilled selection of meat or fish every night with some fried mixed veg and full salad bar. Kids food tends to be just pizza or pasta and the kids corner of the dining area was not open for duration of our stay.
The kids mini disco is good and my two kids enjoyed it however one night they decided to prioritise a conference and move it outside right next to a steep set of stairs. My wife and I pointed out that this was very dangerous as young toddlers by their very nature can run around without regard for danger. These concerns were met with sniggers from the entertainment team, and when we spoke to the entertainment manager Raffaela I believe , she was also very rude to my wife and just walked off. To her credit she found my wife the next day and apologised for her behavior and agreed it was not well planned.
None of the bar staff look like they enjoy their jobs which I can understand whilst they serve sub standard local drinks into plastic cups all day.
The resort is quiet but the beach is lovely and I would recommend Con Santi if you are fed up of the hotel food.
We have complained to TUi and received compensation. There is no TUi rep on site by the way.
However it is only right to post about the completely filthy establishment to hopefully allow others to spend their money elsewhere.

With regard to our gastronomy, our buffet follows a varied weekly schedule with daily-changing options that include different meat and fish dishes, international cuisine, local specialities, and vegetarian alternatives. We are sorry to hear that the selection did not meet your preferences. We would have appreciated the opportunity to know your tastes during your stay so that we could have attended to your needs in a more personalised manner.
As for the Seth Club, unfortunately it was not yet fully operational at the time of your stay, as renovation and improvement works were still underway in order to guarantee an even better experience for families in the future.

Honest Review
We got back yesterday from this hotel after reading the reviews prior i was concerned.
We arrived around 1pm and luckily our room was ready as we were travelling with a 7 week old baby. The room was on the ground floor in block 7 which was very handy for us with a pushchair.
Room was clean enough just not a great view looking over the road at the back of the hotel with little sun on the balcony.
I had requested a cot and kettle which were both in the room on arrival.
Room smelt damp and we Small problem with ants in the bathroom.
The hotel grounds are lovely well maintained and very clean
The plastic cup for a drink didn’t bother us it does keep the place tidy
We was half board plus
We didn’t spend too much on drinks for example a vodka slush was 8euro
A standard slush 3euro
Breakfast starts at 8 until 10.30
Dinner 7 until 9.30
These times could be extended as can be quite busy we found if you went earlier it was a bit quieter.
The pools were clean and lovely and warm.
Partner used the gym unfortunately we didn’t use the spa but it did look lovely.
Reception wasn’t too bad they just don’t speak at lot of english
We asked for an iron you don’t have this in your room you have to borrow from reception and return it.
You are given pool/beach towels on arrival if you misplace these or want them changed its 1 euro also if you do lose your cup or drink card thats 1 euro to be replaced.
The location is lovely down the bottom of the hill is the beach with a small selection of restaurants and shops we walked here most days. There was also a street market on sunday and Tuesday evening when we arrived offering crafts clothes crepes and hair braiders.
There is a bus stop outside the hotel which we got on and went to mahon which was about a 20 min ride 1.75 euro ppew well worth the money its stunning there.

Breakfast you have the usual hot selection eggs sausages hash browns etc and then the cakes with pancakes fruit bread meats etc juices and hot drinks available
In the evening the food was not the same everyday there was a variety of options inside and then something different outside.
The chicken paella was one of my favourite dishes
We could not complain about the food at all there was always something to eat and tasty too.
Overall we had a lovely pleasant stay

I would recommend it primarily to those with small children.
The hotel's location is excellent. The room was small, but comfortable. The food was varied. The gym was small, but very well-equipped. The only “problem” was the large number of shouting children; they shout at breakfast, lunch, and dinner alike.

Lovely holiday, improvements needed though for return
This was our second visit to this hotel after having a great time when it was a Barcelo hotel. It changed hands recently and noticed a few changes, similar to the comments below.
We had a lovely holiday and there isn’t anything hugely bad about it compared to other hotels in the peak of summer. I would come back again with some changes.
Sunbeds are an issue. But this is the case at a lot of hotels peak season. When we returned to the pool in the afternoon we always managed to find space. We did witness and hear of towels being removed from sun beds by other guests even whilst people were in the pool which caused issues.
The previous heat the kids splash park was for the sole use of hotel guests and included the all inclusive offer, as the reviews below state this is no longer the case which is a shame.
The food was ok, but we did struggle a bit after a few days similarly to others due to lack of variety. In previous years there has been a theme night but this isn’t the case any more. It would be great to see some allergy friendly alternatives too, but appreciate not all needs and tastes can be met. Our daughter has a milk allergy so desserts were a no go. She did eat a lot of jelly!
Entertainment staff were very friendly and welcoming, and particularly the very hard working restaurant staff. Similarly to others below we did experience and witness some unfriendly and rude interactions by some bar staff. Like we are an inconvenience.. it appeared this wasn’t the case for all types of traveller, which was uncomfortable and not how I’d like to feel any day let alone on holiday. This wasn’t a cheap holiday.
The hotel welcome was luke warm, again felt an inconvenience and wasn’t provided with much info and had about 4 people deal with is in the space of 5 minutes whilst they were all doing different things.
The rooms were ok. Sound proofing no different to any other large hotel to be honest and the cleaning staff were friendly and always there.
We had no issue with the cup and card for drinks process. You exchange your cup for another drink or a card again. It ensures the pool area is tidier for sure which is great.
Not related to the hotel, we had unpleasant experiences at the fantastic beach. We decided to get there early to ensure we could secure and pay for sunbeds and an umbrella close to the water so we could safely monitor our daughter. We were told that all the sunbeds at the front were reserved. This was despite the fact that no sunbeds were actually put out yet. We were told we could have one at the back. Needless to say we didn’t bother and bought an umbrella from the shop which was fine. You can find them left by other people by the pool at the hotel too. We later saw that the beach sunbeds were only given to locals. I appreciate locals must get irritated at high season with holiday makers, but that made us feel really uncomfortable. And you want our money or you don’t.
The bus to Mahon is right outside the front of the hotel which is great. Make sure you have cash.
This hotel has loads of great qualities and fantastic location for the airport and beach, but perhaps consider getting out and about more for food and experiences.

It would be great to see some allergy friendly alternatives too, but appreciate not all needs and tastes can be met. Our daughter has a milk allergy so desserts were a no go. She did eat a lot of jelly!
Entertainment staff were very friendly and welcoming, and particularly the very hard working restaurant staff. Similarly to others below we did experience and witness some unfriendly and rude interactions by some bar staff. Like we are an inconvenience.. it appeared this wasn’t the case for all types of traveller, which was uncomfortable and not how I’d like to feel any day let alone on holiday. This wasn’t a cheap holiday.
The hotel welcome was luke warm, again felt an inconvenience and wasn’t provided with much info and had about 4 people deal with is in the space of 5 minutes whilst they were all doing different things.
The rooms were ok. Sound proofing no different to any other large hotel to be honest and the cleaning staff were friendly and always there.
We had no issue with the cup and card for drinks process. You exchange your cup for another drink or a card again. It ensures the pool area is tidier for sure which is great.
Not related to the hotel, we had unpleasant experiences at the fantastic beach. We decided to get there early to ensure we could secure and pay for sunbeds and an umbrella close to the water so we could safely monitor our daughter. We were told that all the sunbeds at the front were reserved. This was despite the fact that no sunbeds were actually put out yet. We were told we could have one at the back. Needless to say we didn’t bother and bought an umbrella from the shop which was fine. You can find them left by other people by the pool at the hotel too. We later saw that the beach sunbeds were only given to locals. I appreciate locals must get irritated at high season with holiday makers, but that made us feel really uncomfortable. And you want our money or you don’t.
The bus to Mahon is right outside the front of the hotel which is great. Make sure you have cash.
This hotel has loads of great qualities and fantastic location for the airport and beach, but perhaps consider getting out and about more for food and experiences.

However, we sincerely regret that your experience did not fully meet your expectations in certain respects. Regarding the availability of sun loungers, we would like to clarify that, in accordance with the rules set out on the signage and via the QR code at reception, advance booking is not permitted, in order to ensure fair access for all our guests.
As far as cuisine is concerned, our offering is structured around a daily rotation of menus that combines international cuisine, local specialities, live cooking and themed evenings. With regard to allergen management, we take this responsibility extremely seriously, providing detailed information at the entrance to the dining room and ongoing advice from our front-of-house team. Finally, we are sorry that the service provided by some member of staff did not reflect the warmth that characterises us, an aspect that is usually one of our most recognised values and one on which we will continue to work.
We trust that, despite the issues raised, you will consider staying with us again in the future and allow us to offer you a thoroughly satisfying stay.
