A Fabulous Hotel away from the crowds.
A very well run hotel away from the hustle and bustle but close to Pollensa and surrounding areas. A word of warning tho - the narrow turn onto the track to the Hotel is shall we say both narrow and bumpy - but well worth the short drive. The Hotel itself is old fashioned charm and our room perfectly clean and comfortable. We only stayed 3 nights and wished we had booked longer. Everything about this place is to be recommended, especially the buffet breakfast ( with fresh eggs to order ) and the fact you could get a fresh coffee / drink at any time from the honesty bar. The thing to bear in mind here is that it is a travesty to rush around the Island everyday - why not soak up the relaxation that abounds from all areas surrounding the Hotel. Highly recommended.

Absolutely awful. Should be closed down.
Rented out to Drunken German's who blast music at horrendous volumes all day and night... Literally no break from the constant booming music. Continual screaming and drunken behaviour, smashing glasses, dive bombing in the pool all night (e.g. 2am). This is right next door to a family hotel, who's holidays are ruined by such drunken behaviour. No chance to relax in the day with screaming and drunken hooligans and no chance to sleep at night with all the screaming, blasting music and drunken behaviour. The owners should be accountablet for allowing such antisocial behaviour.

Very peaceful in beautiful location
Despite its idyllic location set in the countryside, you’re only about a 5-10 minute drive from Pollença old town and a little further to the port.
The property is a popular destination for walkers who can use it as a base to hike through the Tramuntana mountains. We went for an organised walk through the vineyards to look at the black vultures.
There’s a rocky track up to the hotel from the main road that’s fine in a small car and if you take your time and go slowly.
The decor of the hotel is traditional, very tasteful and clean.
Breakfast is good with a typical choice of fruit, ham, cheese, cereals, bread and eggs cooked to order.
Evening meals are also excellent. We had the shoulder of lamb, tumbet, and baked bacalao. Homemade tiramisu was perfect.
There’s a good honesty bar with beers, spirits and wine and a nice choice of local wines with dinner.
The plumbing in the bathroom in our room was a bit noisy - the toilet cistern kept filling but the noise could be shut out by closing door, and the water pressure on the shower is a bit random. To be honest, we didn’t say anything as it’s kind of expected to have imperfect plumbing in such an old property but I only mention it in case it would bother someone else.

Lovely quiet hotel
Stayed for five nights while we explored the area. The hotel is a short drive outside Pollenca. It is set in a rural location where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and views. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and given a tour of the hotel. It is a converted farmhouse and retains its rustic charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are various outdoor areas for relaxing, as well as the pool. We ate in the hotel on our first night and had a very nice meal. Would definitely recommend it for people looking for a quiet place to stay with character.

Agroturismo Vall de Pollenca
We stayed here on Saturday night, as part of my husband's business trip in the area. What a gorgeous place - we couldn't have had a warmer welcome from the owner and his wife (Antonia, I think) and he was very proud to show around his property. Lots of things growing in the fields surrounding the hotel itself, and the views from everywhere were just gorgeous! It was so quiet and peaceful, the only noise was from the bells around the cows's and goats' necks, just delightful. It must be lovely to sit in one of the outside seating areas with a drink and just lapping up the peace and tranquility in this beautiful countryside retreat. We hadn't really had much lunch, so the owner very kindly made us a sandwich and a coffee each, and it was served up beautifully. You definitely need a car to access this hotel - it's down a very bumpy, very stoney and uneven unmetalled track , off the main road, and you would be forgiven for driving right by, as it looks just like a footpath off the main road, but for the sign pointing to the property. In retrospect, perhaps we should have rented a 4x4 vehicle Plenty of parking for guests. Our room was at the top of the house, but the shower in our room (Number 7) desperately needed a new showerhead, as water was coming out of everywhere when turned on, not just the holes in the "rose". But plenty of hot water, although the water flow out of the bathroom tap wasn't very strong. Plenty of lovely towels, but only one tiny bottle of shower gel each, nothing more than that. If you have mobility issues, then we recommend you ask for a room on the ground floor, as the upper floor is accessed by a rather steep staircase with uneven depth steps (and no lift!). Breakfast the following morning was absolutely delicious, a wonderful buffet, and although we didn't have any we saw that the chef was able to prepare eggs to order, in various different ways. However, dinner was somewhat disappointing, we had ordered in advance (mixed paella for 2 people) and it wasn't as nice as we had hoped. It wasn't particularly warm and the meat in the dish was overcooked, as were the mussels, so by the time we thought about having another couple of spoons of the paella, the left-overs were cold! We also didn't feel that the paella had been cooked in the paella dish it was served in. We were too full for a bit dessert, so asked for some fresh fruit, and we were served with some lovely pineapple and kiwi fruit, which was just perfect after the filling paella dish! We're sure that, in the height of summer, this hotel is absolutely perfect for the temperatures, at the end of March, we were really cold and had to ask for some more duvets, although there was a wall heater in our room. No coffee making facilities in our room, but coffee seems to be available 24/7 from the dining room, but you had to pay extra for it, and had to what you had had in a book on the table. The owner does take credit card, but he gave us a little discount for paying in cash. Wi-fi is okay, but the signal varied from area to area - the best was on the terrace. But all that said, it was a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely go back in the summer months.
