Very nice accommodation in Arad

Very nice experience. Nice staff, very friendly. A very good price for one night in tranzit to Brasov. The room was with a nice terase where we really enjoyed our evening. We are recommending this accommodation. Thank you, Carmen & Rolf-Peter!

I am not sure how to rate this place.

So I will break it down for you.
I was there on Sep. 14.
The whole facility is run by two people, a guy at the front desk, bar and everything else and a lady playing maid, cook and God know what else.
The guy tried his best, even gave me a room with a double bed instead of two singles. But then, the same guy let me down with the brakfast the next morning. He told me the breakfast starts at 8:30 and he also mentioned not to rush. So I showd up at 9 but most on the plates were empty with no refills.
I asked for an omlet, he said no, there are eggs in the tray. Two fried eggs in deplorabile condition from overheating, no more scramble eggs, no feta cheese, no chees at any kind, just a few small bad cherry tomatoes, not the best, the veggies were stale.
The breakfast gets no stars.
The rooms, both the first and second were clean, new shower and fixtures, comfortable bed and overall clean.
The building is on a busy street, a shortcut to the centre, loud trafic late night and early morning. Rooms get a 4, but with much indulgence.
Location is not great, far from the centre, about 20 minutes walking in an average area. Location gets 3 stars.
The greay thing about this place is the swimming pool, I saw people using it, I did not. Parking at front amd Wi-Fi is decent.
These people have to comprehend that the key of running such a plce in this industry is not all about cleaning a room and let peiple use it for the night. If they dont get this, well, then quit the business. I am not telling you what to do, draw your own conclusions.

Be careful when you are booking solely through telephone. They do not respect their agreements.

We talked twice over the phone and it was confirmed that we could pay with the holiday card. Two weeks after we arrived on the booked date, we were nonchalantly informed that we could no longer pay with the holiday card, given that no one had notified us in advance. Even the "boss" offered us an extraordinary solution that we may not have thought of, namely if we have another card with which we can pay. Wow. We were offered absolutely no alternative, or a sign of reconciliation of the situation in which the pensioners were to blame. As a result, at 7 pm, after a one-day trip, we had to look for another accommodation. If you plan to book by phone, double down on everything you've discussed by email, or book through booking (if you don't want to pay with a holiday card).

We went to check in. It was 10pm and we had driven for 27 hours from UK. We were told that they had no rooms available and had double booked. We had no alternative but to leave. Tired, exhausted and staff were nit helpful or willing to assist us in any way.
