Hotel Steinbock

Zostal som v hoteli týždeň a veľmi som si ho užíval. Moja izba bola priestranná a čistá a počas môjho pobytu bola udržiavaná v čistote. Mali sme raňajky a večere zahrnuté v našom balíku a reštaurácia odvádza dobrú prácu pri poskytovaní rôznych jedál počas týždňa. Kvalita jedla bola neustále vysoká a veľmi príjemná. Aj sauna je vynikajúca. Tento hotel jednoducho nemôžem zaviniť, pretože pomer cena / kvalita je veľmi dobrý. Personál je príjemný a má veľa opakovaných hostí. Poloha je v Kleinwalsertal úžasná a krásne turistické trasy sú v blízkosti. Určite by som sa chcel vrátiť! Osobitné poďakovanie patrí personálu v reštaurácii, ktorý bol veľmi milý a profesionálny.

Little flexibility in travel planning and initial billing error.

We had planned a hiking vacation in Kleinwalsertal for mid-May. Since the weather forecast beforehand for alpine tours (like on the Ifen) was very uncertain and unusually uncomfortable, we proactively sought conversation for days before our arrival. Our goal was a fair compromise, such as a postponement of a few weeks or leaving the cancellation fees as a deposit for a later date. The hotel would not have lost any revenue as a result.
Unfortunately, we encountered no flexibility or willingness to compromise in this matter. From a family-run establishment, we would have expected a bit more sensitivity and a solution-oriented approach in such a situation. We are aware that cancellation policies are legally binding, but the handling of the customer's request was very rigid here.
Complicating matters, the first cancellation invoice was mistakenly issued at nearly 100 euros higher than agreed in the booking confirmation. After our written objection, this was promptly corrected and an apology was issued; however, it leaves an additional bitter aftertaste regarding the overall handling.
Unfortunately, the service in this case was disappointing for us. Anyone hoping for a minimum level of goodwill as a hiker in difficult circumstances should be aware of the hotel's rigid stance.

Es tut uns leid, dass Sie Ihren Urlaub aufgrund der Wettervorhersage storniert haben. Bitte verstehen Sie uns nicht falsch, jedoch können wir eine Buchung nicht so kurzfristig verschieben, nur weil schlechtes Wetter gemeldet wurde.
Wir geben uns große Mühe, unseren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten, auf das Wetter haben wir jedoch leider keinen Einfluss.
Trotzdem wünschen wir Ihnen alles Gute und hoffen, Sie vielleicht zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.

Very good 3* hotel in Mittelberg

3* Hotel in Mittelberg in a good location and good value for money.
The room was spacious and very clean.
The food convinced us of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The location is optimal, as directly at hiking trails and bus stop.
