Nice hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The bar was good, breakfast excellent and it was very nice with the training room, pool and sauna on the top floor. Quiet and comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel in a strategic location, but bathrooms without a closed door, and with a very small and narrow toilet area (see photo).

Hotel in a strategic location, next to the Saldana metro stop, with a direct line to both the airport and the center of Lisbon.
Good breakfast.
The bathrooms in the rooms (essentially all the same) do not have a door that closes, and there is a kind of tube containing the toilet that is narrow and very uncomfortable (see photo).
Temperature in the rooms with a maximum of 24 degrees Celsius.
The TV does not receive broadcasts and Italian programs.
Nearby the hotel: restaurants, pastry shops, supermarkets, and an excellent Italian pizzeria.

Hotel Evolution Lisbon

Hotel Evolution Saldanha is located in the Plaza do Saldanha in Lisbon.
The hotel is modern, spacious and technological rooms.
Unfortunately on my stay the TV didn't work because of their internet connection and unfortunately they couldn't solve, although they made room change available.
Nice breakfast.

This hotel has many excellent qualities (location and travel options including to the airport, super lovely staff, small but serviceable gym, free pool sauna steam room, lovely bar and outside seating area, spotlessly clean, provided free room water and even a bottle of wine on arrival) but some small draw backs (nope the air con in your room isn’t broken - it’s just very, VERY weak - and there are no back up fans, and the room toilet as a Perspex “pod” in your room means a real lack of privacy if you’re a couple or family). The negatives were not deal breakers during the stay and we had a lovely time but as we visit Portugal in high summer the air con would be a deal breaker for a future stay. If you get it at a good cost, then book- but if air con is a necessity (and check out the toilet pods definitely first if you’re room sharing!) then you may want to just have a think. The staff though were honestly wonderful :)

The hotel was nice overall, but there were a few issues with our stay.
The biggest disappointment was the air conditioning. As Californians, we prefer a cool room with a strong fan, but the room always felt quite warm. Even after two staff members came to explain that the AC was functioning properly and that the windows needed to remain closed to maintain the temperature, we still found the room uncomfortable. We often had to open the window to let fresh air in just to feel cooler.
We also had a problem with the safe box. The front desk was unable to fix it, and the entire safe had to be removed and taken to the maintenance department for repair.
Last but not least, there was no exhaust fan in the toilet room. As a result, we had to spray Lysol each time someone used the toilet for a bowel movement, which was inconvenient.
