Real heart room

Can't but highly recommend Overhalla Hotel. The building itself may have had its time of greatness in the 80s, but the hotel is well ⁇ ined, and with the charm retained. We held a meeting with 40 participants at the hotel, and the service turned around on short notice and welcomed us professionally and cordially. Thank you so much for us!

Time capsule from the 80s. Sparkling clean and super friendly service. Recommended!

Brand new and modern in 1985 ... with everything intact from that year - the furniture, the carpets, the curtains, the environmental strip, the pine beams, the shower set, the breakfast menu with kneipp bread and the mildest sliced Norvegia. As outdated as it gets.
Without any irony on my part: This place is an experience, precisely because of the above! But also because everything is clean, the upholstery in the 80s chairs is like new, and the service is impeccable.
So if you're looking for something typically Norwegian - but in a good way - book yourself into a three-star hotel out in the countryside with a staff who will take care of you.

Stay away

Old hotel with need for refurbishing. The whole place starting rooms restaurant etc must be upgraded in order to charge what they charge. The staff was nothing special sometimes they occurred as grumpy to me. Grilled salmon was dry what surprised us when they advertise as a salmon fishing hotel.

2 separate stays in June.

I stayed at this hotel twice in June. I returned to this hotel as I had previously stayed and was very happy with the location, room and food.
The owners and staff are friendly, and the food was very good.
The hotel has a large car park, and is in a nice quiet location.
I will certainly stay again if in the area.

1 night stay en route to,Arctic Circle by Motorcycle

I can't understand how this hotel has yet to get 5 stars.
The rooms are clean, tidy and a good size. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves freshly prepared meals, and the breakfast buffet has all you could ask for.
It has a large private car park, and is away from the road so nice and quiet.
I simply cannot fault it. It offers a more personal experience that say a large Scandic.
I enjoyed my say, and would stay again.
