Booked one night then came back for another 2.

the hotel is family run and owned for many years. It is a combination of what you find in an international chain and a local business.
The rooms are quirky and personalised, very clean and large. The hotel has names and messages in the doors in German. Our room was full of love hearts.
The breakfast was a really good buffet, the restaurant is good as the chefs who are family have worked overseas in international hotels.

Nice, cozy, and friendly hotel

We stayed at Hotel Scharfes Eck while attending a family wedding. It is conveniently located in downtown Muhlacker near a small shopping street, next to the city hall, very close to a grocery store (within 150 meters), and about 10-15 minutes walk to the train station.
The hotel is a family-run business and everyone work there are very friendly and accommodating. Our room is spacious and clean, and has an interesting and lovely decoration themed with a sailboat, paddles, and lighthouses, etc.
Breakfasts were excellent and had many choices and we were always made sure that everything goes well.
We had very comfortable stay at this hotel, which also has internet wireless access in the room. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte zu Gast im „scharfen Eck“. Unser spontaner Gedanke war, der Name ist Programm Nein, im Ernst jetzt...
Im Großen und Ganzen war das Hotel in Ordnung
Der gute Eindruck wurde leider nur durch ein paar Kleinigkeiten geschmälert...
Ein Doppelzimmer kennen wir etwas anders. Die Betten waren nicht nebeneinander, sondern standen vertikal quasi Kopf an Kopf. Ein Umstand mit dem wir uns arrangierten.
Der W-lan Zugriff war nach 1 Tag ohne Funktion und wir konnten niemanden finden der uns helfen konnte.
Ein weiterer Punkt: man sagte uns, Frühstück bis 10uhr. Als wir dann am Montag gegen halb 10 eintrafen, war leider nichts vom Frühstück zu sehen‍♂️. Auf Nachfrage erfuhren wir das unter der Woche Frühstück bis 9 sei. Schade...eine Info beim Check in wäre hilfreich gewesen und es wurde auch keine Alternative angeboten, obwohl eine Angestellte mit Brötchen und Co in der Hand an uns vorbei lief...
Es gibt hier auch „Themenzimmer“ die sicher sehr schön sind und das Restaurant macht einen sehr guten Eindruck.
Vielleicht wird der nächste Aufenthalt besser‍♂️...

Rustikales Dorfhotel das den Sprung aus den Achtzigern nicht geschafft hat

Man muss dem Hotel zugute halten dass der Speisesaal und Empfangsbereich im Erdgeschoss schön neu renoviert ist und ansprechbar ist.
Die Zimmer haben jedoch noch den Charme aus den Achtzigern. Wir hatten das "Fussballzimmer" welches aussah wie das Kinderzimmer eines 10-jährigen.
Es roch muffig, die Matratzen waren alt und man konnte die Federn mit der Hand spüren, die Zimmertür klapperte bei jedem Luftzug und das Bad hatte noch nicht einmal einen Fön.
Alles in allem hätte man für das Zimmer und die Lage das Hotel auf dem Land nicht mehr als 40€/Nacht verlangen dürfen; der Preis lag jedoch bei mehr als dem Doppelten.
Völlig inakzeptabel.

Gute Maultaschen und frischer Salat , Preise eher günstig, Restaurant macht einen freundlichen Eindruck, günstig gelegen mitten in Mühlacker in der Fußgängerzone
