Excellent Stay – Great Location and Wonderful Staff

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with the overall experience. The room was exceptionally comfortable and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated that an iron and ironing board were available and in my room, as many hotels don’t provide this.
The location is fantastic — within easy reach of three train stations, with buses and trams close by for getting around Cologne. It’s only about a five‑minute walk to the main shopping district, which offers plenty of great shops.
A big thank you to all the staff, especially the cleaning team, for their hard work and friendliness.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travellers.

German, so friendly, polite and proper!

Great hotel, very friendly reception, very clean rooms. Very extensive breakfast buffet, both hot and cold. In a pleasant neighborhood, there are quite a few restaurants in the evening and a lot of young people going out. Parking available but not cheap (€ 29/day), but those are normal rates in Cologne. Electric charging stations available in the parking lot.

Central hotel. 6th stay. Mixed results.

Excellent location. 6th stay in this 4 stars super 275 rooms. Building from 1971, bought for 66 million euros by Swedish pandox company in 2025. Mixed results. Spacious 801 room even if slightly outdated decor. Hearty breakfast. On the other hand possible progress for the friendly welcome and especially concern for computer processing between prepayment of breakfast options on the official website accor, but the hotel did not have this information in its intranet... Ubuesque and distressing situation. Three mornings in a row, wasted time, stressed, and forced to prove good faith. Fruit basket, bristol and mail apologies from the front office manager did not however make me want to return a 7th time to the Cologne pulmman.

Great rooms and an extraordinarily good spa area

We used this hotel for one night because our train was canceled, and we were extraordinarily surprised. The rooms were very modernly furnished, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. There was also a spa and fitness area, both of which were magnificent. There is a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and in addition, you can help yourself to water from a station at no cost, which I found to be a really positive touch. The entire staff was also very friendly, and the check-in and check-out process went smoothly. Overall, I can only recommend the hotel, as it is also reasonably priced. We paid €90 for one night, and for that, it is truly unbeatable, including the location. Would love to come back.

The hotel was very accommodating, the staff were welcoming, the amenities were good and the room was as described. Much recommended and will revisit in the future.
