Beautiful stay with romantic Mood – small details with room for improvement
Our stay coincided with my husband's birthday, and I had mentioned this discreetly at check-in. All the more we were delighted that the hotel honored this occasion: On his day of honor, our table was set with white table linen, cloth napkins and candles. We were also handed a small voucher. A gesture we found very appreciative.
Our junior suite in the castle area was spacious, quiet and pleasantly appointed. The bathroom was modern, clean and spacious. The only small criticism here: The high pile carpet in the living area.
Two experiences unfortunately disturbed us a little:
For one thing, support for our luggage was not available at check-in. In front of the entrance, many conference guests gathered in the smoking area, so that the actual, more comfortable access to the main house was not visible to us. On request at the reception we unfortunately received no support.
On the other hand, our first evening at the restaurant was a bit bumpy. We waited – as requested on the sign – at the entrance for a placement, but despite visual contact could not address anyone in Service. When I asked friendly then, I was pointed out quite harshly that only the restaurant manager places, that is certainly better...
Despite these small downsides, the positives clearly outweigh us: the location, the Mood, the cleanliness and the noticeable effort to give guests a good time. We would particularly like to mention the colleagues from the bar and spa area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Highly recommended
The old mansion has been restored with incredible love, both the common areas and the rooms.
The spa also leaves nothing to be desired and invites you to relax.
Breakfast, too. There was felt nothing there was not, from various salads, coffees to sparkling wine everything was there. The very nice and attentive service at breakfast is particularly noteworthy. We felt very welcome.
