Unique and impressive place on the edge of the jungle.

This is a whole open-air complex at the edge of the jungle, with bungalows, an open restaurant and nice sitting area. Literally you are in the woods so it is a very natural feeling...birds all around etc. Adone runs the place, designed the whole place himself. Real thatch roofs etc.. You will not find another place just like it anywhere. this place is very well done and you can feel Adone's passion and personal touch everywhere. While the town is nearby (it lies between the edge of town and the beginning of the jungle) it feels isolated which is the whole idea of this place, but if you want to be in some kind of bustling area this may not be the place for you. Great and special experience overall.

The rooms are very nice… but thats the only good thing that I have to say. The room is a cabin, located in the middle of a forest. Its pitch black and hard to navigate through the trails. The trails are uneven, and full of rocks and sticks. I sprained my ankle walking through that mess in the dark with the flashlight that is provided. There is no sign outside saying the name of the hotel, nor are there roads- you are driving down gravel paths to reach the hotel. The room is designed in a way that aesthetically pleasing… but the room door is made of wood, and is full of cracks, so naturally many bugs get inside. When I woke up, my husband and I were COVERED in bug bites. There is also no TV, wifi, or hot water in the room and the water has a foul smell. Would never stay here again! Terrible!

Jewel in the Jungle

What a wonderful little place. We were lucky enough to stay in the family size Cabana for one night. Wish we could stay longer! It was so peaceful and everything was perfect and so beautifully done. There is no air conditioner, only fans, but the weather was great so it did not bother us. Dinner was available at the onsite restaurant. The food was delicious! Breakfast included homemade bread.
We followed directions on google maps and it had us drive on a road that is no longer used (glad we persevered and found Casa Mango!). So, do not take the first road left when you come from the direction of Tulum, take the second road left. There are signs for both roads.
A very good value for money. If I am ever in the area I will make sure to stay there - more than one night so I can really enjoy the peace and quiet.
