Excellent riad
We noticed a negative review about this riad after booking but before our arrival, and at the time it made us a little hesitant. In the end, we are very glad we went ahead, because our experience was completely different from what was described there. It seems that either the review did not reflect the property accurately, or that guest had an unusually unfortunate stay.
This riad was absolutely excellent. Aziz was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
We travelled with two children and, as it was our first time in Morocco, we didn’t quite know what to expect. In the end, our concerns were completely unfounded. The room was spacious, with two single beds and one queen-sized bed. This wasn’t entirely clear from the description, but it worked perfectly for our needs.
The breakfast was simple but very good, and more than enough to keep us going through the first part of the day. We also arranged an airport transfer through the riad, and the driver was waiting for us in the arrivals area, which made everything very easy.
The location is ideal—within walking distance of the medina, yet far enough from the busiest areas to enjoy some peace and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay.
I would definitely recommend this riad and hope to return in the future.

Had evening meals twice both excellent. Very good communication about finding riad. Very helpful with transfers and cabs. Extremely clean. Very friendly. We really liked being a short walk away from main square

Excellent location and staff, everything was cleaning, the young lady in the reception was amazing, The Moroccan dinner in hotel is highly recommended

Our stay at this riad was overall just okay, but there are a few things I really wish I had known before booking.
The biggest issue was that guests are required to leave their room key at the front desk every time they go out. Staff is supposed to let you back in, but on multiple occasions we were left waiting outside for 20–30 minutes at night because they were asleep. As a group of three women in our 20s, this felt uncomfortable and honestly a bit scary—especially since the walk through the Medina to reach the riad is already quite dark and isolated. We were usually just coming back from dinner or shopping at the market, so it wasn’t unusually late.
The breakfast was also underwhelming. Nothing terrible, but not memorable.
Another thing to note: cigarette smoke is noticeable. It’s the first thing we smelled when entering, and as non-smokers it wasn’t the most pleasant welcome. We adjusted, but it’s something to consider if you’re sensitive to smoke.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly enough, and the rooms were cleaned daily and kept tidy.
