Amazing Location & Fantastic Food

As commonly mentioned in other reviews, the biggest advantage of this place is the location. Bang on City Centre, which makes your shopping or sightseeing very easy as Munnar sightseeing areas are scattered in different directions.
its a clear good hotel and all criteria meeting up with a regular 3 Star, though its a very old property it is maintained well.
What stands out in this place is their F&B. Their Food is just amazing and service in the restaurant is very good. Mr. Reji the F&B manager was coordinating with almost everything and continuously checking if we are comfortable. All the staffs at the restaurants are looking forward to assist us. There was not even a situation were the guest is looking for the waiters when the need something. All the boys are readily available, specially Mr. Arun is extremely good with his work and smile on his face at all times.

Our stay in Munnar Eastend Hotel

The Eastend Hotel had very friendly staff, location was good but very noisy and busy outside. We had an excellent therapeutic massage and podikizihi treatment. The rooms were clean but did not block the noise outside. Many of the power points in the room did not function. WIFI was supposed to be free? But was so bad and intermittent we could not use

Not good.

The hotel is good but the staff service is a bad experience for us. When we asked for towels for our room, they gave us a right at the service desk.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The location was perfect however our stay was not great! The fan in the room was wobbly and shaking really bad even on speed 1 with a loud noise. When we shared our concern with the staff he came and he checked for himself and he giggled when we said that we are scared the fan will fall on us while sleeping. He said he will come back and never did, we never got a new room or didn’t even come back to fix the fan. The shower before we used it it was super slippery, looks like they never cleaned the previous oils that could have come from people getting massages done and it was slippery. There was also no floor Matt for after shower use which made the floors more slippery after being wet. The breakfast was good at this place however the service was extremely slow during breakfast.

Great location with a balcony

This is the first hotel we have stayed in India with a balcony. So nice to get outside from your room. Hot shower.
The restaurant was good with lots of choice and the staff were always willing to help. Cheese omelette was my favourite. Even though in a different building.
The location was perfect for sight seeing and visiting lots of restaurants.
You definitely need to try the chocolate, lots of shops selling various flavours.
