Ostria Hotel

We were in Skiathos for a week....wonderful. On the evening of our departure they canceled our flight and we ended up at the hotel for the overnight stay. It was 10....excellent welcome from mother and son. The gentleman at the bar was very kind. Spacious, very clean, and well-furnished rooms. Excellent location for the beaches, easy to reach by bus. Just outside, many places to have dinner. Top.
Flight canceled but a nice discovery.

A beautiful hotel and fabulous stay

After spending a day at Ostria pool last year, I decided to book and stay at the hotel this year. We were not disappointed! The room, gardens and pool area are spotless and the location is great as it's close to a number of restaurants, the bus stop and the beach.
The staff are so friendly, welcoming and really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable - they were great with my 6 year old daughter. Special mention to Sofia, Tasos, Dimitris and Tasos' daughter (can't remember her name!).
I recommend the Greek night and the Mama Mia night - so much fun and we made special memories!

10/10 For a Peaceful Oasis

We are return visitors to this beautiful family run small hotel. It is testament to the quality that many guests return every season.
Set back from the main road in private gardens, the individual rooms are tastefully decorated in clean, Greek style.
We shared a two bedroom apartment this time with our teenage son. We had a large balcony and it was cleaned daily.
This year it is self catering but breakfast is available from the on-site bar at reasonable prices. It also serves snacks and meals.
Tasos, Petra and family are now running 2 event nights per week which were great fun and very well attended.
Do not come here if you want 24/7 action, music and activities. Do come here if you want peace and tranquility but moments walk from a fantastic beach and great restaurants. It is often fully booked but sunbeds by the pool are always available.
Thanks again to our host, Sofia and family. We hope to come again.

Exceptional staff!

We stayed at the Hotel Ostria for only one night, due to the sudden cancellation of our flight. The staff members welcomed us late in the evening and with very little notice, and they did everything to find us accommodation, despite the busy period, demonstrating great availability, professionalism, and kindness. We slept in a recently renovated studio, very clean, lovely, and equipped with everything, with a nice patio that overlooks the garden. The hotel is very well-maintained, even in the common areas, and has a nice pool where we spent the morning waiting for our flight. We were given the opportunity to use a bathroom with a shower even after checking out. We thank all the staff again from the bottom of our hearts and recommend staying at this excellent hotel!

Quiet place

Quiet and relaxing location. Very clean room. Nice balcony. The only limitation is the kitchenette, which is too basic.
