Fabulous

We were amazed by the location,view from the porch,size of the room swimming pool and all service spaces.The big porch was at a distance of 10 m. from the swimming pool and about 30 m. from Aegean See. The staff was very friendly.
In my opinion this hotel has the best quality/price ratio comparative to all hotels we stayed in Europe

Just a roof above your head

The hotel could be beautiful if it wasn't almost a ruin. The sound of the waves at night would be stunning if the mosquito nets wouldn't be ripped and rusty and if all your neighbours wouldn't continuously move the beds around (all the rooms have separate beds and everybody is moving them closer together). The breakfast would be nice if the terrace would be renovated and clean (the food is nice though). This is a "could be" hotel. Until then, try something else...

Very good hotel

Very clean room, good position on the island, 5km far from the harbour, sea view from all the rooms!
Very friendly staff and very helpfull to ofer all information about island, beaches, tavernas, places for visit in Samotraki. Thank you!!!
Very nice pool and very clean, very good breakfast, rich, almost the same, but with some diferences betwin from the days, we ask for vegetables and was solved the next day. The room was cleaned every day, the towels changed every 2 days.
Very good choice!
Nice view to the sea and sunset.

Best view on the island

Kastro is the best place to enjoy the view of just an endless ocean on the island of Samothraki.... The rooms are simple with just beds a fridge and bathroom...but they are clean and well kept.... if you're looking for luxury this isn't the place for you, BUT if you're looking for a restful, quiet and spectacular view of the ocean and just an endless sea of blue skies.... this is the place to visit.... the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good.... there is a pool if you feel like staying at the hotel, and if you feel like exploring the island everything is close by by car.....This is our second visit to Kastro and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Make sure you sit and watch the stars at night from your balcony... breathtaking to say the least!
