Beware of the tourist tax and unclear information

Despite not being informed about this on the website or during booking, the couple managing the place started insisting on a tourist tax that had to be paid towards the end of the stay. This is not uncommon in Greece, but we were not informed about it until the end of our stay and not when we booked.
They also did not accept cards and demanded that the payment be made in cash.
The rooms were okay, but based on the location, which is a bit far from Pythagoreio, and the unprofessional handling of guests, I would not recommend this hotel.
We also found belongings from previous guests in the drawer of the room.

Nikos Studios

Ok but no more. Missing a microwave in the kitchen and the beds are rock hard. Clean and tidy both around the hotel and beach. Free sunbeds if you buy something for 5 euros per person per day. Busy with loud music by the beach all day. But overall a perfectly ok apartment hotel.

Great accommodation

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one week in June and I cannot say anything
negative about this accommodation. The rooms are very well furnished, a nice beach with a great beach bar is just across the street and Pythagorio city with lots of restaurants and services is just a few minutes by car. We could see the airport from our balcony, but the airplane noises weren’t disturbing our sleep as there is no arrival or departure during the nighttime. I can recommend this accommodation to everyone who wishes to have a calm vacation nearby Pythagorio.

impeccable accommodation

We stayed there from September 1-11, 2018. I have absolutely no negative remark relating to this accommodation. It is clean and well-maintained, the cafe bar across the street is extremely pleasant, as well as the beach, it is peaceful and relaxing by all means. Even the vicinity of the airport runway is not disturbing because there are no early morning or late evening flights (yet). There is a large and fenced parking space right beside the villa. For those preferring to stay by the pool, it is absolutely clean and quiet and not many people go there as far as I could see. There is a shower and various chairs around to lounge in. In my opinion, this place will satisfy the needs of both families with children, young couples, friends and even older couples with less mobility (bus station is in front of the hotel, however the buses are rather unreliable and rare, but nevertheless). For touring the island, it is absolutely necessary to have a car/bike/whatever means of transportation.
Note: the rooms on the ground floor had a huuuuge mosquito problem during our stay, hence it is necessary (for survival) to use anti-mosquito tablets all the time, including spirals and to ensure that mosquito nets are closed all the time (the cleaning lady tends to keep them open and when you return in the evening the ceiling is black with the said blood-suckers).
All in all, my sincere recommendations for Nikos studios!
