Wonderful apartments
We have just arrived home from the Seagull and had a wonderful holiday. We paid a little extra for a sea view studio right at the front of the block,. This was worth the extra price, the view over the beautifully tended garden was amazing, straight down a short path to the beach and the Aegean. It was very hot and to sit on the shaded balcony in the afternoon after the heat of the day and watch the beach activity and hear the waves lapping on the beach was bliss. Due to a lovely sea breeze, we didn"t need to pay extre for air con. Up a, (very steep slope), at the rear of the apartments brings you onto the main street with lots of tavernas and restaurants.
The apartments are maintained immaculately by the cleaner, linen was changed 4 times and towels much more frequently. Helen, the owner is a great host, nothing was too much trouble, we saw her and her mum every day. We were left some fresh cucumbers and given a bottle of home pressed olive oil for our return. Needless to say, we have booked to return next year.
If you're looking for all the mod cons, you may need to look further afield, the studios are very compact and the shower is very limited for space. The kitchen is equipped with 2 cooking rings, a kettle and toaster. There is no television and ladies, you need to bring your own hairdryer. The studios have no pool, you csn use the pools at the apartments either side. None of this bothered me and my husband, the wonderful location and warm welcome more than made up for the lack of some things.
Happy holidays to be had here if you like peace and quiet and a comfy and very clean environment.

Fabulous studio apartment in lovely resort
I have stayed in the Seagull Studio apartments several times over the years. The apartments are set in a great location right on the beach. Helen is very welcoming and looks after her guests very well. The apartments are clean and comfortably equipped. The resort is really nice with lots of places to eat and drink. I will definitely return again to the Seagull Studios. I have always enjoyed my stays there and have made lovely memories in Stalis.

Fantastic holiday
Stayed at these studios, for 11 nights on the last minute, Helen the owners communication leading up to the holiday with me was absolutely brilliant. She was there to greet us late into the night, very pleasant and helpful, the studios were immaculate, beautiful gardens, right on the beach, cleaned everyday, fresh towels etc, a complementary basket of tea coffee and water, situated in a prime location, no pool but you can use the pools either side of the studios. Helen was there if we ever needed anything, I would definitely recommend these studios. Stalis is a beautiful place to spend your holiday. Thank you Helen for making this possible.

great place to stay
From arrival Helen made us very welcome and we found the room to be very clean with everything you needed for a perfect holiday. We paid for the air conditioning which was great value and the beds are very comfortable. The Wifi signal is stronger on the balcony. We had a side sea view which was lovely for watching the sunset. The location is fabulous both for the direct access to the beach and all of the shops, bars and restaurants on Beach Road. It was also lovely to get some homemade olive oil when leaving.

Excellent stay in Seagull Studios
This was our first time in Crete and also Stalis. The Seagull Studios were the perfect place to stay whilst there. Helen was the perfect host, even when our flight and transfer were about 2 hours late. The Seagull Studio sits smack bang in the middle of Stalis. Bars and restaurants were either way of the studio's location. The location as shown is right beside the beach, which you can exit and enter by the gate at the end of the studio's. There is no noise from the road, as the studio's are set back from the main road. No noise from the bars etc.
The room we stayed in was a side view of the sea, which was great and the breeze helped keep the room cool during the night. There is air conditioning available at a cost, but we found leaving the patio door on a secure tilt, but locked again helped to keep the room cool. The rooms itself is adequate for two adults to stay in. Absolutely spotless rooms, the maid called everyday but one day of our stay. However, Helen was still available if you had any problems or enquiries. The wifi is adequate but i found the signal stronger sitting on the patio with a bottle of free wine from our host.
We stayed for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Seagull, and would not hesitate in booking again in the same Studios.
I would personally like to thank Helen for her hospitality, and she could not do enough to make our stay more relaxing and hassle free.
Just book....you will not regret your stay in the Seagull Studios.
