Great stay and restaurant
Had a lovely few nights at this hotel. Great location and amazing food/ drinks. Really nice facilities with lots of places to relax and unwind. I will definitely come back. The Mathraki wine is also very nice, highly recommend.

Beautiful Family Run Resort
We had the most beautiful stay and couldn’t recommend this family-run place enough. We loved it last year and cameo back again this year ! It’s small, personal and has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable there with the kids — it’s a really safe, family-friendly place where you can properly switch off and enjoy your holiday.
Nickos, Dimitris, George and Maria are just wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The food was fabulous, the hospitality was second to none and nothing was ever too much trouble.
We’re home with the loveliest memories. There’s something very special about finding a place that feels so genuine and welcoming, especially when travelling with children.
Thank you all again for another fabulous stay. We will most definitely be back! ☀️

A charming hotel with wonderful people and a beautiful atmosphere
Ideal place for a family holiday! A very pleasant and intimate hotel. The owners and the entire staff are wonderful, warm, and friendly people. The garden is beautiful, green, and very well maintained.
The rooms are clean, serviced daily, and equipped with everything you need. We loved the beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the greenery and the sunrise.
There are comfortable sun loungers by the pool and a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy food throughout the day. The town centre is also nearby, with plenty of lovely tavernas to choose from.

Wonderful family stay
It was such a pleasure being hosted by George, Maria, Nico’s, and Dmitri at Mathraki Resorts!! It is a lovely property in Gouvia with many different types of room, including family rooms. The pool is delightful and the pool area is very pleasant. Our children felt very comfortable during our stay. The main buses for Corfu all pass right by Mathraki Resorts so it is very easy to get to places like Sidari, Paleostrikas, Ipsos, etc. There is Maria’s mini market (different Maria) right next to Mathraki resorts that has everything you need for your vacation at fair prices. There is a big supermarket a short walk away. There is also a laundry service a short walk away.

Exceeded our expectations
We stayed here as a group of 8, including our 4-year-old daughter, and had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
We had a very early flight from Munich to Corfu (5:50 AM) and arrived at the resort around 10:00 AM. After traveling in the summer heat, we were completely exhausted. Even though it was before check-in time, the staff kindly invited us to use the pool while we waited and let us check into our rooms as soon as they were were ready. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture.
The rooms are modern, clean, well-equipped, and fully air-conditioned, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather. We booked two pool-facing rooms—one with a bathtub and the other with a shower—and both were excellent.
Every morning we headed out to explore Corfu and returned in the evening feeling tired after a full day of sightseeing. What impressed us the most was the housekeeping. Every single day, our rooms were cleaned so thoroughly that they felt like we had just checked in for the first time.
The pool area was fantastic. There is a shallow, protected pool for children and a deeper pool for adults, making it perfect for families. There were also plenty of swimming rings available for children who were still learning to swim, which our daughter really enjoyed.
The food was delicious. We especially loved the homemade burgers and the Caesar salad. For breakfast, the fresh fruit with yogurt and honey, as well as the fruit salad, became my favorite way to start the day, and our daughter loved them too.
One of the sweetest touches was being allowed to pet the family’s friendly dogs, books and playing corner with a lot of toys which made our daughter very happy.
The location is excellent. It’s close to the center, making it easy to visit different beaches and explore Corfu Old Town. There is also a large parking area right next to the resort, which was a huge advantage since we had rental cars. You can easily walk to the large shopping center and Gouvia Beach in just 5–10 minutes.
Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations. The warm hospitality, spotless rooms, great facilities, delicious food, and convenient location made our family holiday truly memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Corfu.
