We had a lovely overnight stay here. Although the room was basic the look of the hotel overall, the quality of staff and the facilities felt more than a 3 star.

This is a really great stopover en route to the tunnel/ferry. We travelled with two dogs and the grounds are extensive to walk them. They are also welcomed at dinner and unlike some other places that charge for them, they did provide beds and bowls. The meal in the restaurant was excellent. The only thing that is not quite so good is that the charge for two dogs for a night was 40 Euros in total (not 60 in total as suggested on hotels.com). I think that’s not a problem for a night but it would deter us from booking for longer which is a shame as it was a lovely peaceful stay. But overall, the experience was very good and we returned to the UK rested after a good night’s sleep.

Good location, lovely grounds, nice rooms with AC

We stayed in the upgraded rooms with AC. It was well appointed with all the facilities you might need. The Resturant food was ok, freshly cooked pleasant staff, although service slow at end- we would have ordered desert and more drinks but gave up waiting for main course plates to be cleared. Breakfast had a reasonable selection but nothing outstanding. All food pricey. But would stay here again for location close to port.

Our Head Chef and his team are committed to creating authentic cuisine using fresh produce that showcases our local region. I am sorry to read that the pace of service towards the end of your meal did not live up to the standard set at the start of your dinner. Your feedback is invaluable and has been shared with our front-of-house team.

Really nice hotel close to Calais, but in a quiet contryside setting. We had a great family room with a view of the gardens, and the hotel supplied a travel cot for our baby. We didn't get to uset he pool, but the restuarnt is lovely. Very nice staff, great food, let down slightly from the number of flies buzzing around.
