The location could not be better. We were able to explore Angers easily on foot, with the city’s attractions, restaurants, and charming streets just moments away.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the gracious hospitality. The staff welcomed us with warmth and kindness throughout our stay, offering attentive service that felt personal and sincere.

Great hotel all around!
Excellent hotel, very well located (city center), beautiful room, everything is there (including a large safe). Good follow-up on the reservation, with email instructions about nearby parking. Excellent welcome upon arrival, friendly and helpful team, very attentive. Excellent soundproofing, thick curtains, we sleep well, top-notch AC, coffee, fresh water, and herbal tea available in the hallway. Top-notch breakfast. In short, two nights, an excellent stay, well done and thank you. Three minor details regarding the praise: the chair in front of the desk is stylish but not very comfortable or practical, you slide backward, and its stability is average. A more standard but functional chair would be better. The toilets are placed rather high; if you are short, your feet will barely touch the ground... and the shower has no shower curtain, personally, it doesn't bother me, but my wife didn't like it. Aside from these three minor points, everything is great, and I give it a 5.

Great comfort and absolute calm in the heart of Angers
The Markus is a "very private" and "confidential" hotel that we loved.
We particularly appreciated:
Its location in the heart of the city and close to a parking lot.
The absolute calm in the rooms and bedding of a rare quality.
The attentive and friendly welcome of Julien and Francky who gave us the best advice on tourism and gastronomy.
We ended this too short stay with an excellent à la Carte breakfast, served at the table in the dining room with beautiful period parquet flooring.
We particularly appreciated:
