We were met by the owner on our arrival at 7pm after a really easy transfer using public transport from the airport.we were shown to our room and given a brief summary of some local places to eat and drink at local rates (not tourist rates).as other reviews have said, the room is old fashioned in its decor but this just adds to the character, it is an old building and it helps you to feel like you are in the Czech republic not just another hotel room. It still has all the mod cons you need ... tv, microwave, kettle great central heating (which after many hours outside at -5 was very welcome)the apartment was very clean and comfortable and yet central to the city yet close to conveniences 10 min stroll to get in the centre.
Yes the towels did smell a little musty and the light censor in the toilet tended to keep going on and off but bed was huge and comfy and overall we found our stay at the zderaz very pleasurable.would definitely recommend to others to stay here...

Owner held our luggage before and after our stay. Area seemed safe and two doors required to get into property.

The room I was quietly accommodates two people and was quite clean. The building where the apartment is located is beautiful and charming and age only adds to favor.

Pleasant stay
Great for families, couples or friends travelling together like we did. But it's not a noisy place so keep your partying in the great downtown of Prague.
