Cheap option in Prague, but far from the center

It's a good choice for students, the cost-effectiveness is good. The room is well heated and bath very warm.
It is situated a little distant from the center, the nearest metro station is a 15 minute walk.

Nice rooms

Were you about to find a quiet and well cared-for room for a reasonable price, then it's definitelly a good offer for you. The room isn't expensive at all, I'd say even that it's quite cheap. If you happen to be hungry, there are some vending machines in the main hall, next to the reception. Of course it's maybe not the best hotels I've seen in my life, but considering its location close to the centre of Prague and to the Chodov metro station, as well as Chodov Shopping Centre its definitelly worth considering staying in it.
The main advantage you gain from staying in that place is its very convenient location - one bus stop from the Chodov Shopping Center. That shopping center is connected with the metro station, so after having a trip to the city, you can go to Chodov and do some shopping. The buses heading towards Chodov pass next to Volha very often and so does the metro going to the city.
As for the rooms, in every room there are two bedrooms with two beds in each room., there is one kitchen, one toilet and one bathroom. Both rooms have separate keys to the locks, as well as both rooms have their own TV (as far as I remember).
Oh, the vending machine selling sandwiches is just great! I've been already three times to Prague - once with my father a few years ago, once with my friend and once with my present fiancee (Prague is where I proposed - I simply love that city). Volha is a place which I've always chosen to stay in, as the ratio of price and quality seems to be the best there.

Very basic

Price paid was fairly cheap. Area is safe and there are green areas around. A small shop close by is good enough to buy what is necessary on holiday. There are a couple of restaurants in the area but check closing time. Transport connection to Prague Old Town is good, bus stop seen from hotel. Need to take a bus to Chodov and 2 metros to Centre (30 min journey). Shopping complex at Chodov being modernised. The hotel itself is very basic. Breakfast was the worst we were ever served, although it is buffet type. Shared bathroom is not well planned. 2 sinks in the shower area, with a separate small room for toilet. Can't wash hands if another traveller is in the shower! There is a fridge in the common area of each 'flatlet'. No kettles or wifi are available in the rooms.

decent room

a nice and quite modern room, not sure but i think there wasnt wifi in the room only in the lobby...it was my last minute accommodation so it was ok however far from the centre if you want to sightseeing

Tani nocleg

Hotel 2 gwiazdkowy, mimo że jest to część akademiku to miejsce jest zadbane. Na cześć hoteleowo przeznaczone są dwa piętra. Cena adekwatna do jakości. Minusem jest ze nie ma większego lustra w pokoju bądź na korytarzu. Łazienka dzielona jest na dwa pokoje tak samo korytarzy, w którym znajduje się czajnik oraz lodówka. Pokój wymaga odświeżenia ale to tak na prawdę jedyny minus za taką cenę. Hotel oddalony od centrum Praga ale połączenie jest idealne, ponieważ przy hotel znajduje się komunikacja miejska która jest połączona z metrem :). Miejsce noclegowe dobre dla rodzin, par oraz grupki znajomych.
