Hotel Panorama is a few minutes by car from the centre of Plzen, next to the Kosutka Lake and a park. It offers free parking and free WiFi. All rooms have a bathroom and feature a satellite TV and a minibar.

Comfortable, in a quiet green corner
Good property in a quiet residential neighborhood, away from the center but well served by public transport. Not very modern but well maintained. Courteous reception and helpfulness of the staff. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast quality but poor in variety. Excellent restaurant with interesting and tasty proposals. Reasonable prices. Large parking lot

Not four stars standard by far
The hotel is situated outside city centre in a residential area and actually not easy to find. The parking lot was almost empty every day, so lot of space. We did not see many other guests at the hotel apart from us. The breakfast area was empty with little food to choose from. The dinner we had was expensive and not very good. The room had poor lighting and so did the stairs up from the lobby as the electricity was activated, probably by moving sensor. I stumbled couple of times, before I figured out how it works, but this is not supposed to happen at all. Couple of time we experienced that we were gazed at by the staff from other areas having views to the breakfast area, which was strange. During breakfast we experienced staff coming to us to take order, only never to come back. The children were confused and dissapointed over this kind of service, and we got less breakfast. The staff was not service-oriented at any moment of our stay.

first of all we would like to apologize for your bad experience with our hotel and also we would like to thank you for your feedback because opinion of our customers is really important to us.
Some thing which you mentioned we need to improve and we are aware of them, but some are really hard to improve for example location of our hotel. Our hotel is not pressented as hotel which is situated in centre of Pilsen rather like family hotel in peaceful part of Pilsen suburb 10 minutes from centre. Our breakfast system in the days when we are not so occupied which probably happened in period of your stay, works like this and please correct me if some things where different:
breakfast contains:
variation of cheeses, salami, mozzarela with tomatoes, variation vegetables(tomatoes, paprika, cucumber), liver patte(majka), soft cheeses, variation of jam, variation of fruit, fuit yogurts + plain white yogurts, sundried fruits, sundried bananas, almond, sunflower seeds, cocunut powder, little sponge cakes("piškoty"), sun dried cherries, musli, nesquik musli, cornflakes, pastry by day(buns, brownies), bread and rolls, orange juice, apple juice and bluebery juice, coffeemachine for latte, cappucino, esspresso.
for warm breakfast there are options from menu:
Ham&Eggs, Bacon&Eggs, Wiener sausage, "Fried eggs with bacon, ham and cheese", Scrambled eggs, Omelet with ham and cheese.
Obviously in the situation of low hotel capacity we serve less food to prevent wastage but sortiment is always the same and full. Otherwise our staff which is encuraged to keep checking situation and which you maybe misjudged with "gazing", is obligated to fix the buffet situation as soon as possible. Please let us know what is essential for your daily breakfast. We will be happy to improve. Further, the "ordering problem", due to many misunderstands in the past we engage reception staff which is better equipped with languages skills to take orders and other staff which just later bringing final meal therefore you didn't see same staff twice.
Your dinner experience is really hard to solve week after you left but please next time if you will be so kind to visit us and our restaurant, tell us straightaway and we are happy to give you different meal or return your money.
For hall lighting we apologize, its activated by moving sensor. It's challenging to figure this out. Please can you write us in what room have you been?

Very friendly and personal place to stay
We spent one night in Plzen at the Hotel Panorama. Very good value for the price. The hotel is in part a little outdated - this cannot be denied but the way the employees take care of you make more than up for this. Very friendly, personal and helpful. The hotel is clean and the area quiet (to be true, slightly out of the center but it is not a large city) - as such, one can enjoy a good, relaxing night. The breakfast is above standard for such type of hotels in the country. We can only recommend Hotel Panorama.

Nice hotel.
Very pleasant stay. Nice greeting and service from reception. Good breakfast. 5 tram stops from town center. Quiet and comfortable room. Nice beds. Pleasant surroundings I would strongly recommend this for Pilsen

Good, clean hotel and lovely wellness
We spent 2 nights in this hotel and were really satisfied. Room was clean and cozy, wellness is a bit small but really lovely and quite new - so private usage of this area is highly redommended. Location is not perfect, but the city centre is easily reachable via public transport and is not far away. Pilsen as a city is really great, would recommend visit to the Pilsner Urquell brewery and the biggest czech pub called "Spilka". Restaurant in this hotel is not something special, but is sufficient (speaking about dinner/lunch). Breakfast is free and really good. Parking is also free. Staff was friendly and helpful. To summarize, I can recommend this hotel to other travellers.
