Lovely new up market hotel with modern fittings. Very clean and easy to access. Quiet location with friendly and helpful staff.

Headed up the highway for the fabulous event that is Nerdmania Shepparton on the 29th so stayed at the Mantra for two nights .
Check in was ok , the lady behind the desk had a bit to complain about , staff sick and staff not turned up and she was working crazy hours . That’s great . You do what you have to do .
Got my room keys and went to the room .
It seems smaller than the pictures and the one bedroom apartment was cosy . One two seater sofa , table and chairs one side one seater and that’s it .
The tv worked , the streaming didn’t . Rang reception and they tried to help me by ringing their boss and an ensuing three way phone call of which nothing worked to fix it . Yes I was on their wifi yes it said connected Netflix wouldn’t pick up that there was a connection no matter how many times I tried , and I tried . The owner said he would look at it tomorrow . But would I like a bottle of wine ? No Thankyou
Had an ok nights sleep
Left the room at 8am the next morning to go to work and came back to the hotel at 530 left the refresh door hanger on the door as I left and came back to an uncleaned room.
Rang reception and was told there was no cleaning on the weekends and I asked where that was stated on the website or during my booking and she didn’t know what to say . Because it isn’t written or noted anywhere . Then I got told the cleaning crew is still here would I like anything ? So they were there but not cleaning because they don’t clean on weekends? Huh? I said no that’s ok I don’t want anything .
So came the knock on the door 5 minutes later asking if I need something from cleaning no I don’t close door . Again a knock to be asked if streaming worked I said no , do I want them to look at it ? After a ten hour workday , no.
I streamed on my iPad instead of using the two big ass tvs .
I needed some bottled water and there is one long corridor to the reception from inside the building I passed the scurrying receptionist running out the door , walking towards it , had another twenty steps to go to get there and found the reception closed but ring this number if you want something . Why didn’t she save me the effort and tell me it’s closed ?
I really disliked the placement of the tissue box on top of the toilet
I also disliked that the shower had nozzles behind it so you have to get wet to turn it on then the shower bottles were further away so you have to step out of the spray to use them.
It did my head in .
All in all I really doubt I would stay there again , it wasn’t a fantastic experience . I wouldn’t tell all my friends omg you have to stay there .

Nice, clean and modern. Shame they have such old basic shower heads. Please update your shower heads.

Well priced, staying in new establishment rather than older options.

Good stay; some aspects could be improved
This is a brand new Accor property in Shepparton. Very nicely setup; excellent bed, minimalist, comfortable furnishing. Great air-conditioning.
Negatives -
1. The kitchenette in the apartments have a functional microwave, but the bar fridge is poor quality (could not keep my yoghurt cold! It was a putrid mess after five days) with no freezer section. Only one sort of tea is provided.
2. The TV is massive but there is no direct streaming, and I think only Android mirroring supported (in common with other Accor properties).
3. There is no laundrette at present, which is inconvenient for guests staying longer for work
4. Accor status is not acknowledged - no welcome gift! Upgrades likely not possible.
Overall, though, I would (and will be soon!) return. It is well-located close to the hospital.
