Central-city apartment hotel serves a family well.
Stayed 3 nights at Quest on Williams in Melbourne. This is an apartment hotel and we had a two bedroom apartment with 4 adults (2 parents, and 2 adult sons). Hotel is very central and we could walk to the rail station (Southern Cross Station), to a full size grocery store (Coles, near Southern Cross), and to the Victoria Market. Apartment was clean and the boy’s room set up with two beds, while we had a king bed. Kitchen provided enough cooking tools & equipment for us to cook dinners and breakfasts (we typically ate out at lunch). The hotel is in the business district, so it has an understandable level of city-noise, but overnight was quiet. One son used the hotel’s gym, which was small but enough - a nice set of free-weights. We would stay here again because it was so convenient to many of the venues we wanted to visit.
Also appreciated being able to wash & dry a load of laundry (in the apartment).

My stay in at Quest on William was wonderful. Not only was it close to my work event venue, but it is also a walking distance to different food places and shops. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service.

Easy to get into, the young man on reception was exceptionally helpful. Apartment was very clean and very spacious.

Family Friendly Apartments
A weekend trip to Melbourne with a toddler was made easy with the team at Quest on William. We often struggle to find the right balance of easy access to public transport, kid friendly rooms and onsite storage of luggage, but we received all this at the William Street location.
The rooms were well presented but not too fancy (ie. there was no fear that a 3 year old would break anything) and there was plenty of room to set up a play area as well at let the adults watch TV.
Tram tracks on the doorstep take you to the important locations....markets for snacks, Southern Cross station for the bus to the airport and the mall for shopping.
